In 2002 he released
his first solo album, 'Full Moon Howl' which included his own versions
of hit songs Birmingham, and Last Exit To Eden. A second solo album
has just been released entitled 'Shed
My Sin'. It includes 9 new
songs plus a haunting version of his classic 'Dark Horse'. "I come
from a Pop/ Rock background so most of the songs I have had the most
luck with started as Pop cuts', states Dean. "I always have tried to
make the lyric 'matter' which in my opinion is sometimes lacking in
Pop tunes.
I think that is why I've been lucky enough to have a lot
of my songs cross over to the Country market as well for as we all
know it's the lyric that will make or break a Country song".
